7 essential phone backgrounds to use as the best learning resource for A1-A2 German learners

Do you ever find yourself stuck mid-sentence in German, wondering which case to use, which preposition to choose from or how to end an adjective in the sentence you’re trying to form?

You need a learning aid which will, over time, help you to train your brain to come up with the goods automatically.

A1

Below you’ll find phone backgrounds for:

  • Definite and indefinite articles in the nominative, accusative and dative
  • Pronouns in the nominative, accusative and dative
  • Simple, beginner level prepositions with example sentences

A2

Below you’ll find phone backgrounds for:

  • Ordinal numbers with example sentences
  • Comparative and superlative adjectives with example sentences
  • Adjectival declension tables

Final thoughts

I use these myself all the time; the first and last backgrounds having been the most helpful for me to commit the definite and indefinite articles, and adjectival endings to memory.

If there’s another prompt you’d like on your phone, drop me a comment – I always like to add more learning aids to my collection!
